After you've ticked off the city's must-sees, it's time for the must-dos. When the sun goes down, the city's street food scene awakens. First stop: Chinatown! On Petaling Street, you'll find Chinese delicacies as far as the eye can see. And when you're done there, you can make your way to the trendy Bukit Bintang district, where the next culinary paradise and endless shopping opportunities await. Want to end the evening on a relaxed note? Then head to the nearby Heli Lounge Bar. Every night, the helipad of the Menara KH Tower is transformed into a rooftop bar that makes the perfect place for a nightcap. Cheers!
Today you're off on a tour to one of Malaysia's absolute highlights: the Batu Caves! A driver picks you up at your accommodation, where you and other explorers excitedly await the adventure ahead. When you arrive, the first thing you see is the 131-foot-high golden statue of the god Murugan, and immediately afterwards, the 272 colourful steps that soon take you up to the main cave. Now you're totally pumped! In no time at all, you've tackled the stairs, but not without stopping for a few photos of course. And then you're inside the cave – 'Wow!' The sight of the Hindu shrines in the middle of the dripping limestone cave gives you goosebumps. 'Let's go!', says your guide – that's right, there's more to come! Back in Kuala Lumpur, you round off your tour with a visit to the famous Thean Hou pagoda temple, a pit stop in Chinatown for the most delicious street food and a visit to Malaysia's national mosque Masjid Negara! Now you just have to check your memory card to see if you have any space left.
