After you've ticked off the city's must-sees, it's time for the must-dos. When the sun goes down, the city's street food scene awakens. First stop: Chinatown! On Petaling Street, you'll find Chinese delicacies as far as the eye can see. And when you're done there, you can make your way to the trendy Bukit Bintang district, where the next culinary paradise and endless shopping opportunities await. Want to end the evening on a relaxed note? Then head to the nearby Heli Lounge Bar. Every night, the helipad of the Menara KH Tower is transformed into a rooftop bar that makes the perfect place for a nightcap. Cheers!
Today, you've got the chance to experience a true Malaysian highlight on your own: the Batu Caves! Just hop on the KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral – cheap and easy – and ride out. If you want a little more comfort, you can also take a GrabTaxi. The first thing you'll see when you arrive is the gigantic, 131-foot-high golden statue of the god Murugan – the perfect start to your adventure. Then it's on to the 272 colourful steps. After a few stops for pics on the way up, you'll reach the main cave, where the whole scene is absolutely jaw-dropping: Hindu shrines, dripping limestone and spine-tingling vibes!
