When you arrive, the first thing you see is the 131-foot-high golden statue of the god Murugan, and immediately afterwards, the 272 colourful steps that soon take you up to the main cave. Now you're totally pumped! In no time at all, you've tackled the stairs, but not without stopping for a few photos of course. And then you're inside – 'Wow!' The sight of the Hindu shrines in the middle of the dripping limestone cave gives you goosebumps. 'Let's go!', says your guide – that's right, there's more to come!
