A lifelong dream is finally coming true! Perhaps the most beautiful adventure in the tropics of the Indian Ocean awaits. It's off to the unique Seychelles! Bristling with excitement, you leave your everyday life behind and board the plane. You lean back and can already hear the sounds of the sea. Only a few hours separate you from the island pearls of the Indian Ocean, and until then, you're already imagining all the wonderful experiences that you'll have in the coming days. Sweet dreams!
Shortly before touchdown in the Seychelles, you see the turquoise-blue sea give way to white sand beaches. Welcome to paradise! With huge palm trees delivering the ultimate tropical vibes, you slide on your sunglasses and let the adventure begin!
Longing to kick back and cool off in the sea? On Mahé, where each dream beach outshines the next, nothing could be easier! You're about to spend a few relaxing beach days on the largest island in the Seychelles. On a headland in the island's southwest, you'll find Anse Soleil and Petite Anse, two sandy shores that are hard to beat in terms of beauty. Dive into the gentle waters of the Indian Ocean and let the tropical energy whisk you away. Then grab a delicious cocktail at your accommodation and raise your glass to the adventures ahead. Cheers!
One must-do that definitely shouldn't be missing from your Seychelles bucket list is a trip to Sainte Anne Marine National Park! And what's the best way to get there? In classic island style: just hop on one of the many boats in Port Victoria making their daily departure for adventure (optional, payable on site). Then it's full speed ahead! The unique marine reserve will make your long-awaited snorkelling dreams come true and usher you into a colourful underwater world between the islands of Sainte Anne, Cerf, Long Round and Moyenne (national park fee payable on site). The diverse range and multitude of colourful fish and other sea creatures is overwhelming! And a huge plus: your chances of encountering eagle rays, seahorses and sea turtles are extremely good here. So, what are you waiting for? Slap on some sun cream, grab your snorkelling mask and dive into the lively reef!
Spending the entire day at the beach is all well and good, but Mahé doesn't just have fantastic beaches and a magical underwater world to offer. Today, you're drawn to the green side of the island, towards the mangroves and mountain forests. A trip to the Morne Seychellois National Park is just what you need! And you can explore the extensive park on numerous hiking trails. On Sans Soucis Road, which runs through the national park, is the Trois Frères Trail, which leads up to the Trois Frères, the second highest point on Mahé. Follow the path through the dense jungle, past the carnivorous pitcher plants and exotic flowers, until you reach a huge granite cliff, where you'll have an epic view of Victoria and the small islands off the coast. Still haven't seen enough? Then hop on a bus at sunset (optional, payable on site) and drive through unspoilt nature past picturesque villages to Cap Lazare, a stretch of beach with sparkling turquoise waters – yet another incredible view!
