The view of the Himalayas and your first glimpse of Kathmandu's houses takes your breath away – you can hardly wait to discover this magical country and meet your travel buddies! When you land in Kathmandu, your guide welcomes you with a warm 'svāgatam' and you instantly feel at home. It's straight to the hotel in Kurintar, and your heart is racing at the thought of finally meeting your new, adventurous travel buddies. Together with your guide, you discuss the itinerary for the trip, then, well prepared, you now have a little time left to get out and start exploring Nepali soil. How about a stroll along the Trishuli River? Or would you rather just stay back and kick it poolside?

Rise and shine! You enjoy a nice, chill breakfast together before heading out through Nepal's spectacular mountain scenery. Before you know it, you're in Bandipur, a village resting atop a mountain saddle at 3,380 feet, overlooking green fields and secluded peaks. And if you've always wanted to see the mighty Mount Manaslu, you're in luck, because from Bandipur, you have a totally unobstructed view of the impressive five-mile-high mountain. Then you're off for some hiking against an epic backdrop. Next stop: Ramkot. One step at a time, you pass small villages boasting colourful houses, fragrant flowers and green rice terraces. Untouched by modern developments, it seems as if time in Ramkot has stood still. Fascinated, you admire the traditional round houses, chat with the friendly locals and catch a glimpse of what their homes look like inside. It's a day is filled with unforgettable moments that none of you would ever want to miss.

After a hearty breakfast, it's time to pack your bags and get in the car. More of Nepal's must-sees are already waiting for you. Nepal's ties with neighbouring Tibet aren't just noticeable in Kathmandu; Hemja, a small mountain paradise at the foot of the Annapurna massif, is also home to a large Tibetan diaspora. Stroll through the Tibetan market together and let the colourful vibes lure you from one stall to the next. And if you still don't have a souvenir for your loved ones back home, no problem! Make a detour to the handicraft centre and you're sure to find a real handmade treasure! The true highlight awaits you in the evening: a traditional puja ceremony in a monastery – unique and absolutely magical! And you're all taking part in it! You feel the spiritual power of this place as you soak in the devout silence and clear your minds of everyday cares. The setting is truly one of a kind, and you can't wait for what's next. Then it hits you: you're actually spending the night here in these sacred halls, with the world’s mightiest peaks watching over you!
